I am on a mission to change how ADULTS experience ART!

Through my work, I aim to empower individuals to rediscover their creative voice, heal from past wounds, and embrace the full spectrum of human experience. 

As humans, we learn by doing, by experiencing things for ourselves. Just as we learned to walk, we didn't simply think it into existence. We gradually mastered the skills of crawling, pulling ourselves up, and finally taking a step through trial and error. Art, in a similar way, allows us to bypass the chatter of our minds and truly learn what we need through the language of our bodies. It provides a space between us and our experiences, allowing us to step back, gain a broader perspective, and confront our past hurts, traumas, joys, and more.

Somatic Experiencing, in conjunction with creative expression, provides a powerful framework for this journey. By accessing the body's wisdom and releasing stored trauma, we can break free from limiting patterns, behaviors and beliefs. So that we can cultivate a more authentic and fulfilling life.  

My goal is to challenge the prevailing cultural narratives that often diminish the importance of art and creativity in adulthood. I believe that by fostering a greater appreciation for the transformative power of creative expression, we can create a more compassionate, resilient, and vibrant society.

There is no one size fits all approach to healing — together we will partner on a journey unique to your lived experience.

The foundation of my work

Simply Noticing

We gently bring awareness to the sensations within your body. This might be a tightness in your chest, a tingling in your hands, a feeling of warmth, or any other internal experiences.

Being Creatively Curious

Rather than judging or trying to change these sensations, we explore them with curiosity. We might ask questions like: "What's the quality of that tightness? How does it change when you breathe?" or “Are there images, colors, or movements that want to emerge naturally?”

Integration

Through gentle observation and exploration, your body may naturally release stored energy or tension. This integration allows for a shift towards greater ease, balance, and an embodied sense of wholeness.

No artistic skills required, only curiosity and a desire to learn more about yourself!

Introductory Call

20 min | Virtual

The purpose of this complimentary call is to meet one-on-one, answer any questions and see if we are a good fit to work together.

Personal Sessions

60 min & 90 min | Virtual or In Person

Personalized 1:1 sessions that focus on your innate wisdom and leaving space for your natural rhythm to lead the way. So that we can gently explore what needs to come up and out.

My workshops are rooted in Somatic Experiencing, Expressive Arts and Guided Drawing.

A glimpse into what you can expect in session:

  • Safe & Collaborative Space: We'll work together in a secure environment where you feel comfortable and in control.(Virtual or In Person)

  • Mind-Body Exploration: While conversations may occur, sessions often involve gentle exercises to explore physical sensations without judgment.

  • Your Pace, Your Comfort: You set the speed and intensity of each session, ensuring you feel safe and empowered.

  • Safety Protocols: I prioritize your well-being and have specific methods to manage any strong emotions or sensations that might arise.

  • Creative Expression: Beyond exercises, you might be invited to explore your inner world through movement, drawing, or writing, unlocking deeper emotions.
